SPANISH STEAK

What you will need:
2 lb. Chuck or Blade Steak

Instant Meat Tenderizer

2 tbsp. Fat

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix

1 Bay Leaf

1 Green Pepper, seeded and sliced

1 1/2 c. Canned Tomatoes

1/2 c. Dry Sherry or more Tomatoes

Directions:
Trim steak, sprinkle with tenderizer.Brown on both sides in hot fat and then arrange in a shallow casserole. Sprinkle with soup mix, add bay leaf, sliced peppers, tomatoes and sherry. Cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour or until tender.


Makes 6 servings.
