What you will need:
4 whole Boneless Chicken Breasts, halved

4 tbsp. Oil

4 tbsp. Soy Sauce

2 tbsp. Lemon Juice

1 tbsp. Brown Sugar

2 cloves Garlic, minced or pressed

1 tsp. dried Thyme or Basil Leaves

3 whole Cloves

1 dash Pepper 


Blend together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar.

Place chicken breasts in a single layer on a glass dish. Sprinkle with garlic, pepper, thyme or basil leaves and cloves. Pour marinade over chicken. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 4 hours, turning breasts over from time to time.
Preheat BBQ grill. Place chicken breasts on grill, a few at a time. Baste with marinade. Grill for about 5 minutes on one side. Turn over. Grill for another 5 minutes on other side until chicken is fork tender, juices run clear when pierced with fork and chicken is lightly browned. Don't overcook. Garnish with fresh thyme, basil, or parsley. Serve with chutney, cooked rice and a tossed green salad.
